was promoted as a quaint traditional Greek village just a few years ago.

How things change quickly... Tersefanou village seems to be following The Oroklini example.

Nothing is happening on the proposed Tersefanou, Larnaca Golf Course but the hills behind now have 15 wind Turbines to make up one of the newest wind farms in Cyprus.

There are supposed to be 6 more wind turbines to come!

Many properties and apartments still stand vacant around Larnaca and many developers are slashing their prices as they wont sell and they cannot rent them either. Many apartments in Tersefanou, Larnaca do not have Title deeds, but hopefully this will change...

With the recent destruction of the main power station on Cyprus, wind power may generate some badly needed electricity, but I wouldnt hold my breathe. Wind is hardly a major power source on an island like Cyprus, but we will see.

TERSEFANOU VILLAGE, IN CYPRUS, NEAR LARNACA IS BEING BLIGHTED BY NUMEROUS WIND TURBINES. PERHAPS AFTER THE RECENT POWER PROBLEMS IN CYPRUS AFTER THE EXPLOSION AT A POWER STATION NEAR ZIGI, AND NOT FAR FROM TERSEFANOU, THIS EXTRA POWER SUPPLY MIGHT HELP. IN THE MEANTIME POWER IS BEING IMPORTED FROM THE ILLEGAL TRNC (TURKISH OCCUPIED NORTH CYPRUS) MAYBE WIND TURBINES MIGHT HAVE A USE ONEDAY ... SURELY SOLAR PANELS ARE MORE APPROPRIATE FOR A COUNTRY WITH PLENTY OF SUN AND NOT SO MUCH WIND...

Despite all the publicity over the few years and very positive noises at the end of last year, nothing has happened at the proposed Tersefanou golf course, In Larnaca district, Cyprus. However as the Medgolf slogan says "the landscape is changing" and this is indeed true. There are currently 3 constructed wind turbines towering over the village of Tersefanou, Larnaca, with a total of 21 planned.

They look terrible and can be seen from far away.
Like Aphrodite Hills awful wind turbines at Orites wind farm, they also flash red at night.
Properties are not selling well in the area at the moment and this just makes matters worse!

Advertising boards and flags are already appearing around the proposed Tersefanou golf course, Cyprus.

Completion of phase 1 will be middle to end of 2013, This PGA golf course will be the first ever established in Cyprus.

Today medgolf is holding press conference at Larnaca Municipal Theatre between 6pm and 8pm. The PGA golf course at Tersefanou will be the first of its kind in Cyprus. Working is due to start around the second week of January 2011. Flags for Larnaca Golf Resort can already been seen on the proposed PGA golf course - so things are finally moving.

Property is booming in Tersefanou due to the new Golf Course and plenty of new build and off plan apartments for sale. There are not many resale properties in this area near Larnaca and just north of Kiti .

Resale properties can be found in Larnaca, but if you want to be near golf in Tersefanou, then new build properties are better. Tersefanou village is not far from Kiti, or Larnaca airport. Tersefanou property is also more reasonable than Pafos or Larnaca.
